Saturday Senses

Saturday Senses is a way to capture the spirit of each week.

tasting ::  summer fruit – peaches, plums, and nectarines.

hearing ::  kids say, “writing is easy!”

smelling ::  fall in the air.

seeing ::  the light at the end of the injury tunnel. my prediction? no more crutches next week at work. i’ve been perfecting my walk at home.

feeling ::  more relaxed and confident about the beginning of school. i think it’s the don’t take anything personally mantra.

wishing/hoping ::  everyone has a great back to school and/or end of summer.

What are your senses this Saturday?  Looking back, how was your week?

Leave me a comment to tell me made your week memorable.

This weekly tradition was inspired by Pink of Perfection’s Five Sense Friday

  1. My week was busy and tiring, and that made me nervous (especially because the semester only gets busier!), but now that I’ve had time to decompress and sleep in, I realize it wasn’t that bad. Have to stay positive. Going out to eat helped this week. it meant I got to enjoy some food and didn’t have to think about much cooking. Who cares if it costs money! ;-) And lunch with you will be the weekend highlight!
