Saturday Senses

A way to capture the spirit of each week…

tasting :: vegan chocolate chip cookies from trader joe’s.

hearing ::  well wishes from all over the world.

smelling :: the most absolutely horrid bathrooms by the river. stopped me {briefly} in my tracks. gaaaaak!

seeing :: my city from a whole new perspective – hello riverwalk!

feeling ::  so, so, so loved and grateful.

wishing/hoping ::  i can keep this sense of ease and feeling that everything is, in fact, going to be alright. or at least remember it when things all go wrong in my head.

What about you?

What are your senses this Saturday?

Looking back, how was your week?

Leave a comment and tell me all about it. I’d seriously love to hear about your week. Now’s not the time to be shy.

  1. Taste: dinner during camping. Larry made a Southern Boil with shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes. Then he covered the table with paper and threw the whole pot on the table no one was allowed to use forks or plates. It was so much fun using our hands and eating off the table.
See: beautiful redwood forests that looked like something out of Jurassic Park
Smell: smoke around the camp fire
Hear: the sobbing and crying of Madelyn as she said good bye to her BFF who is moving back to Africa.
Feel: sadness at remembering the loss of my own best friend
