Saturday Senses

A way to capture the spirit of each week…

{ruby in the sprinkler – photo credit: me}

tasting :: chicken chow fun from pho bac and pork sandwiches from fat face.

hearing ::  good byes from family and squeals of delight in the sprinkler and on the swing.

smelling :: the great outdoors on ruby’s cheeks when she comes in from playing.

seeing :: our regular play date friends and aunties.

feeling :: overcome by emotion aka a bit weepy.

wishing/hoping :: the crazy spring heat doesn’t kill me this week.

What about you?

What are your senses this Saturday?

Looking back, how was your week?

Leave a comment and tell me all about it. I’d seriously love to hear about your week. Now’s not the time to be shy.

  1. My week was mostly good. It was my first week alone, back in my classroom after a 6 month sick leave. My 5th grade class has 5 girls and 15 boys…and the girls learned how to escape in various ways (reading center, math lab, resource room, leaving early…) so it’s mostly me and 15 stinky boys all day. I shall figure out how to deal with this particular energy.
