Saturday Senses

A way to capture the spirit of each week…

{ruby the scientist – photo credit: me}

tasting :: vegan creamy garlic noodles.

hearing ::  buh-by and whining. lots and lots of whining. like a song you can’t quite get out of your head.

smelling :: chai all over the chair in the living room. *sigh* at least it wasn’t hot when it got spilled.

seeing :: myself fall into a trap of daa and lots of baby science.

feeling :: vulnerable.

wishing/hoping :: i remember to take time for myself and exercise every day because it makes me feel better.

What about you?

What are your senses this Saturday?

Looking back, how was your week?

Leave a comment and tell me all about it. I’d seriously love to hear about your week. Now’s not the time to be shy.

  1. Hi, sweetie! I always read your posts but rarely reply. I’m going to try and change that.

    tasting :: Kix cereal. Been munching on ’em out of the box all day. They were $1.10 a box
    at Safeway this week.

    hearing :: “I’m having a bad day” and “HEY!” – my daughter has been having a bad day
    for at least 6 days in a row. BOTH of my kids have been yelling at each other
    recently. Hey is their favorite interjection.

    smelling :: I’m not sure what it is but I know it’s coming from the trash can. (yuck!)

    seeing :: The light at the end of the tunnel… SUMMER!

    feeling :: Blue.

    wishing/hoping :: I make it to the gym next week!

    Looking back, how was your week?

    It was a hot week last week. I’m not quite ready for the heat but I am ready to stop spending my days at the elementary school! Ready to take on the next week!

    Wow! This was fun! :D Thanks!
