tasting :: rosemary breakfast, marinated tofu, chicken enchilada soup and lemon italian soda.
hearing :: my husband teaching my daughter how to say “obama” during the debate.
smelling :: soup cooking in the slow cooker.
seeing :: one year of parenthood go by so fast i am left wondering why the days feel so long when clearly time passes so quickly.
feeling :: over the moon in love with my kid – a whole year!
wishing/hoping :: that in our second year of parenthood we take a wee bit more time for ourselves as a couple. we figured out we’ve been away from little girl about 6 hours in the last year.

Ruby is looking so big — love the haircut! Love even more your one-year family celebration!!
She is so much more grown up! It is hard to believe it’s only been a year. Our Family Day celebration is officially my favorite day if the year.
