Saturday Senses

A way to capture the spirit of each week…

tasting :: vegan pancakes smothered in peanut butter and syrup, steel cut oats cooked in soy milk with chia, chocolate chips and coconut flakes, vegan sausage on pretzel roll, duck fat french fries, white beer and chicken chow fun.

hearing ::   ruby string two and three word sentences together like she’s being doing it her whole life.

smelling ::  chai tea lotion – warm, sweet and spicy.

seeing ::  photo editing magic!

feeling :: like a genius.

wishing/hoping :: resolution please.

  1. I know you are ready for resolution on things you have been pondering so it may not feel this way ago you but it is cool to be on this side and see your forward progress (without even knowing what is going on) through these Friday reflections. xo to you.

  2. tasting :: first cup of coffee of the day, anticipating migas for brunch at the local co-op after yoga class..

    hearing :: squeaky floor boards as my husband does tai chi behind me, my ancient dog licking her foot.

    smelling :: very little, my nose is stuffy this morning

    seeing :: grey skies shifting to blue, a little cat sitting on a chair waiting for me to pick her up.

    feeling :: rested and ready for the day.

    wishing/hoping :: my 21 year old son would find work he likes, very, very soon.
