A way to capture the spirit of each week…

tasting :: sautéed cabbage stirred into mashed potatoes, grilled chicken burrito as big as my head, grapefruit juice, green smoothies, peanut butter filled pretzels, hummus with celery + carrots, pita pizza.
hearing :: the cry of parents who failed to plan for daylight saving time. did you hear the weeping too? or did you plan better for the change at your house?
smelling :: fresh air in the vic fazio wildlife area.
seeing :: so many kinds of birds. i tell you what, if i can’t nap just take me out into nature and my batteries get recharged.
feeling :: so tired from the daylight saving time debacle and my own nights of tummy trouble. and so thankful my habit of rest has been keeping me afloat all week.
wishing/hoping :: if i am being honest, i really just want to sleep through the night with no 2am craziness. {hold me}.
