A way to capture the spirit of each week…
tasting :: watermelon, popsicles, pulled pork sandwiches, bbq chips by the bag full, beer can chicken, vanilla soy ice cream with chocolate chips, and salted peanuts.
hearing :: my baby girl charm the socks off her grandparents, use of the pronoun “I” (my baby is growing up!) and “mama, ruby wants cookie” (36 times a day and me telling her we only have cookies everyday in minnesota)
smelling :: weird airplane air.
seeing :: the beauty of unplugging and hanging with my family in rural minnesota. green, green and more green.
feeling :: like i’m still on the fishing boat days later. also super sweaty. ridiculously anxious about temps over 100 degrees for days in a row.
wishing/hoping :: for the super hot temperatures to stay away and for lots more connection. must make some mama play dates.
What about you?

Love your Saturday senses – let’s playdate soon, I even have a pool you can stand in (see how I just referenced your top 10 post?? hehe). I’m feeling awesome that it’s only 90 degrees and it feels strange to say that.
