A way to capture the spirit of each week…
tasting :: my first apricot of the season, vanilla vegan protein shake, raw veggies at the park for snack, red lentil coconut milk soup, overnight oats with pecans and raisins, watermelon, chocolate chips, dilly egg salad, avocado olive oil and salt on country toast, pineapple “ice cream”, a tiny little bourbon and homemade ginger syrup cocktail.
hearing :: radio lab show on pathological liars. riveting!
smelling :: the swimming pool and fresh foothill air.
seeing :: the light at the end of the tunnel and visions of the future and the wisdom in the quote above. so true.
feeling :: satisfied.
wishing/hoping :: a safe and fun holiday weekend.
