Saturday Senses

A way to capture the spirit of each week…

{via}

tasting :: popcorn and chocolate chips. ever since i saw this, i’ve been dying for some salty sweet goodness.

hearing ::  the musical stylings of chris isaak

smelling :: the ocean

seeing :: my job being listed took me somewhere totally unexpected – grief. taking this year off is completely my choice {albeit with different timing}, it’s still settling in. not to worry, friends, i know it’s a great thing….just need a little time to adjust to it.

feeling ::  excited {duh, our kid is coming so much sooner than expected AND old 97’s are coming to sacramento again this summer}.

wishing/hoping ::  i don’t get hit by a bus – is there such thing as too much good happening all at once?

What about you?

What are your senses this Saturday?

Looking back, how was your week?

Leave a comment and tell me all about it. I’d seriously love to hear about your week. Now’s not the time to be shy.

  1. Feeling great after a long run
    Tasting a chocolate kalua cake
    Seeing my hubby smile
    Hearing my 12 year olds music over and over again. How many times can I hear Bruno Mars?
    Hoping for a great time camping.

  2. So excited for you! Big, exciting, wonderful changes. :)

    Will play along with the senses!

    Tasting: It’s SO hot, so I just had a raspberry lemonade. Yum.
    Hearing: In a happy, celebratory mood, so lots of Madonna!
    Smelling: My dog. It’s time for a bath.
    Seeing: The pile of books I’ll be diving into very soon as I head back to school again!
    Feeling: Anxious and excited!
    Wishing/Hoping: That this career move is the right thing for me!
