A way to capture the spirit of each week…

tasting :: crumb-top coffee cake and pita pizza with daiya shreads, artichoke hearts, olives and roasted red peppers.

hearing ::  rhett miller and old 97’s latest: the dreamer, the interpreter, grand theater volumes 1 and 2 in preparation for the rm and the serial lady killers show in sf on the 19th.

smelling :: freshly laundered sheets, towels, blankets and every piece of clothing we own. {by the way, when does the unending pile of  laundry stop?}

seeing :: a full calendar. may need to cut some stuff out to honor ruby and my need for quiet these last few days of the school year.

feeling :: frustrated. ruby is working on a couple more teeth and so it’s all wet t-shirts and snotty noses and grumping around kinda being naughty.  also see: in need of adult company sans my child. anyone want to hang out in the afternoons?

wishing/hoping :: to slow down to enjoy my last week of solo parenting of the school year.
