Loving: Watching my beautiful child nap in the car and parking outside of Temple to use their wifi. Oh the sweet, gentle nap time. So much better than the frustrating last few weeks of nap resistance and mama yelling. And just a few days ago, I was worried that this was becoming a thing and now I’m a peace with it.
Oh time (and perspective), I love you.
Watching: MarieTV. I love getting videos each Tuesday. Marie teaches how to create a business and life to love. Funny and helpful. Every single week.
Reading: Beautiful You: A Daily Guide to Radical Self-Acceptance, Hunger Games (because I try to stay ahead of the trends), and The Happiest Toddler on the Block.
What can I say? I have a lot of reading needs.
Anticipating: A trip to see Rhett Miller play in SF in March!
Listening To: Tara Brach’s “Finding True Refuge“.
Planning: My birthday party. I know it is still more than 2 months away, but still.
Working On: The plan for next school year and my return to the classroom.
Wishing: I could stay up past 9 pm.
What about you? What are you currently…?
Thank you, Gina, for the post inspiration!

Of course! I like doing the “Currently…” posts. It’s a nice way to sit down and realize what’s going on. :)
Happy Friday!
Totally did a post today with a shout out to you, Gina, so thanks again!! :)
Loving: Having the house to myself for a few days!
Watching: Nothing because I have the house to myself for a few days!
Reading: The Backyard Homestead, The Untethered Soul
Anticipating: Training at work on Monday, boyfriend getting home
Listening to: the silence of being by myself for a few days!
Planning: How to save energy in our house, house projects
Working on: Getting up to speed at new job
Wishing: I could go to bed before 9pm! (I try to get in bed around 9pm most nights and consider it an absolutely necessary luxury. Not that I would have said this in 6th grade, but gosh darn early bedtimes rock!)
Bedtimes are wasted on the young. Oh wait, no they aren’t! Putting ourselves to bed can be do hard. I find it hard when my husband is gone.
BECAUSE YOU TRY TO STAY AHEAD OF THE TRENDS! HAHAHAHAHA! Hey, I feel you. I have too many books open because I’m a tweak and I start one thing and move on and it’s a whole mess. I wish you many good sleeping vibes for your baby girl. When mine was that age her sleeping and lack thereof made me want to run far far far far away. Even though she gave up naps early, she has always let ME nap and once she started sleeping all night she slept like a log AND sleeps in. Beautiful. I thank you and Gina for the inspiration because I think I’m gonna copy this!
Ru letting me nap is a fantasy.
The Hunger Games was brilliant by the way.
I’m so glad you thought so, I loved it. I hella got stalled on the third book and my friend could not believe it, she thought I was nuts (which is true). So I’ll be curious to see what you think. Oh, and she will let you nap one day in the not too far off future!
