A way to capture the spirit of each week…
tasting :: my first peach of the season, vanilla vegan protein shake, green smoothies, raw veggies at the park for snack, red lentil coconut milk soup, hummus olive wrap, eggs with lots of garlic and dill, honey lemonade, chilled noodle salad with grilled pork, peanut butter cookie sandwich from magpie, overnight oats with pecans and raisins, kettle corn, zucchini and chickpea saute over isreali couscous.
hearing :: a tiny little dictator yelling MINE! ugh. three and a half you are HARD.
smelling :: swimming pool and ice pops.
seeing :: almost a complete turn around when i asked ruby to yell “i have another idea!” instead of her favorite word “NO”. life-changing.
feeling :: started the week overwhelmed. stuck. ended the week feeling pretty damn optimistic and grateful. a long over due lunch date with an out of town friend sealed the deal.
wishing/hoping :: for finalizing the healthy happy sane teacher home study and website.
