Many of you already know, but I wanted to share some really tough news: on March 13th my mom died.
Exactly one month after she entered hospice.
January 2014 my mom had a massive stroke leaving her partially paralyzed and thus I began my long journey toward testing all this self-care business in the real world sense.
Since I got the news that Friday at noon, I have been experiencing many physical reactions to losing someone I love, taking exquisite care of myself and trying to still be a present parent for my 4 year old daughter.
As you might imagine, this is the hardest thing I have ever experienced.
At some point I will share some of the lessons I have learned from my grieving and how that relates to my teaching and offerings.
