A way to capture the spirit of each week…

rest day

tasting ::  green smoothies galore, fizzy lemonade (sometimes with vodka), pad se ew at chada thai, barbeque chicken, pasta with goat cheese and asparagus, breakfast special sandwich from orphan, thai noodle salad from cafe bernardo, and lots of yummy veggie dinner bites in the park {apparently i ate out a lot this week}.

hearing ::   the wind chimes going crazy. it has been ridiculously windy here. no bueno. giant piles of pollen pelting you from across the street was a little too commonplace this week.

smelling ::  dairy free chocolate chip bars baking.

seeing ::   dc friend, portland friend, local friends for lots of meals out.

feeling :: started the week absolutely exhausted and played sleep catch up and after a few days of serious napping felt like my usual rested self. hour for hour catch up was key.

wishing/hoping ::  time could slow down just a little bit. i’m completely shocked it’s already may.
